The Weather Outside is Frightful!!!

So it's been 2 weeks
exactly since the big wind
storm.  Every time I tried
to download the pictures,
something went wrong with
the computer.  Hopefully
it is fixed now.
I can't believe how hard
the wind blew that day.
It was really like seeing
the hurricane's on t.v.
Here's all the damage
to my new house.
This is on the north side
of the house.  We lost
some panels of fence.

This is the west side where
it mostly took the whole
side down.  It ripped the
cement right out of the
ground - so I'm sure
new posts will need to
be dug. (Which I'm sure it is too
cold again and the ground it frozen,
so we might get it back in April.)
Poor Lucy - she
is not happy to have
to go out on a leash again.

This is the south side.
The fence is mostly laying
on the trees next to it.

It tore about 2/3rds of the
soffit panels out on the
front porch and blew
a light.

One of the soffit panels
blew down and broke the
front window.  Luckily
it is double paned and
only broke the first pane.

More soffit damage.

One of the lights on the
garage must have
swung around for a while
before it let go.  It
beat up the front and the
side of the garage pretty
good.
The insurance adjuster
was here on Monday -
finally.
He said he would get
started on it and
hopefully we can start
getting things fixed again.
